Planet Organic at Fenwick Newcastle

It’s not often that one of our London-based clients pops ‘Up Norf’ to offer their wares to an expectant Geordie public. But this time last week, health food supermarket Planet Organic took an early train from London and landed in iconic department store Fenwick, the flagship store based in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, with a huge selection of their Own Label products.

From 30th March to 17th April, Fenwick are hosting an Eat Clean – Taste the Goodness event which they are offering as a celebration of all that is good about the organic food industry. They aim to show us that eating clean can be tremendously rewarding, as well as incredibly delicious.

Planet Organic seem like a very obvious choice for the event. Set up in London in 1995 by founder Renée Elliott, they specialise in a huge selection of organic foods and are always aiming to stock new and unusual foods and brands. With seven stores around London, they also offer delivery options in the UK and around the globe, in case you missed their visit last week.

Two members of the Planet Organic team, Amy and Luciana, visited the newly refurbished Fenwick Food Hall for a two day tasting session, encouraging the Fenwick shoppers to sample from a selection of raw and organic snacks, such as their ever popular Rawkin’ Roons and Chocolate Berries.

Of course only being up the road, we had to venture out to sample some of the goodies for ourselves and say hi to one of our lovely clients.
