Service Network Workshop – Engage: Understanding Google Analytics

October 3, 2013

Earlier today I had the pleasure of presenting an interactive workshop for Service Network, entitled ‘Engage: Understanding Google Analytics’.

Aimed at people who are responsible for their company’s website, the workshop broadly covered:

  • Which standard reports are the most significant, and how to interpret them
  • How to administer users and distribute reports
  • How to track online marketing campaigns in Google Analytics
  • How to tag your site to track otherwise-hidden events, such as downloads, external link clicks and video plays
Venture Stream’s Marty Hayes delivering Google Analytics training to Service Network members.

The session had a great mix of delegates, from MDs and Marketing Managers, to Business Development Managers and Marketing Assistants, which gives an indication of the wealth and breadth of information and data that you can analyse and interpret using Google Analytics in order to make smarter business decisions and increase performance of your online campaigns.

The slide deck is shown below for context – if you’d like to know more about why Google Analytics should form the foundations of your business, or if you’d like to chat about how we can hep your business succeed online, then contact us today.
